My work consists primarily of figurative drawing and painting using watercolor, graphite, and colored pencil. As an artist, I seek to create art that feels refreshing, and I aim to produce images that have an ease and playfulness to them. In my figure drawing, I use an energetic quality of the line while retaining the softness of the form to evoke aspects of the figure that I find beautiful and inspiring. I enjoy seeing my subjects in a particular subtle moment that feels comfortable and relaxed. These moments that are typically kept to ourselves can be so curious and sweet.
